A Glaring Issue for SunSetter
A glaring issue for the SunSetter Awnings is their pitch adjustment. By pitch I mean when the awning is extended how far is each side at the ends off the ground as this is adjustable. It can be adjusted up or down a certain variance. So, when the awning is extended how close is your head to the awning when you are walking under it. You don't want to feel like you have to duck your head because it's too low, at the same time you may not want it to high as the sun may come under it.
Horribly Wrong
But when one side is high and the other is low the awning looks horrible like something is terribly wrong. This can happen over time as one side slowly comes loose and slips down while the other side stays high and then the awnings look embarrassing to extend and use.
Many times, both sides come loose and slips down and then both sides are down, and you can hit your head on the awning bars, and it looks horrible and turns into a big problem.

We get more call for this than anything else. The awning is crooked and hanging down to low. The problem is the homeowner can't fix it you have to pay for a service call for the repair guys to come out and adjust the pitch and tighten up the awning. Maybe $150 to $175 for the service call to adjust the pitch. As I have said this is a glaring problem with SunSetter Awnings and it seems to happen to every one of them over time.
